Sienna

SIENNA’’s story –
or Shahrazad
as she is more commonly
known:
Aside from a lifetime of moments - 1001 nights to    be exact, Sienna lives in her mind-life in the  deserts of between, as sister companion to  Magenta.  One has to pass many years on duty holding up the world.

She did not really mind the Sultan - aside from his penchant for head-taking    and thunderous temper, he had treated her with courtesy.

And in the end he had let her go-  she needed the heat of dunes and the blistering vortex of sandstorms to catch just one grain.  One grain in which she would gaze upon another world.

     Note:
It has been speculated by historians that the tales of Shahrazad, by occupying the Abbasid Caliphate heralded the golden age in which the ink of a scholar was deemed more holy than the blood of a martyr.  This included the establishment of The House of Wisdom in Baghdad (one of the more permanent homes to The Jar).
